I just read a blog I've been following. One of the funniest couples I have ever met through blogland. Go to their sites if you want some wonderful humor from a farm family. You can find their blogs by going on my favorites list: Cohagen Chronicles or Pluhar's Rant. I guess I like reading them because I can relate to so much of it. Anyway, I have been inspired to just share pictures with you today. Some recent, some from the past.
These two are down both sides of the Mississippi. This pic is from my little corner of heaven. I wanted to build a house on top of this hill, but Alan said it would cost more for the road to it than anything else.
Grotto Pics, kind of a landmark in these neck of the woods. If you click on the pics, you will be able to read the names carved into the sandstone. One says Casey Jones 1861 and the other says Alan and a date 189?
I loved calving season, but it is a thing of the past, no more cattle, and one of the best decisions, in my book.
