WALL JEWELRY...

I was messing around with some old jewelry trying to figure out what to do with it one day and got a brainstorm.... I poured cement into molds and dropped jewelry in the cement and added a mirror. What do you think?
They are 4" x 4" and hang from necklaces I have incorporated in the cement.
I called them WALL JEWELRY.... they make a nice little gift for the person that loves jewelry, just not to wear!

ADDITIONAL FLA. FUN....

I almost forgot we went and saw Eat, Pray, Love movie. The first time I have been in a theater in a hundred years. Excellent movie if you like Julia Roberts!
AND
I went to the church my mom goes to and it was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed it immensely.
SUGGESTION: When you are in a strange place, pick a church in the area for something different from what you are used to. It is enjoyable to worship in a way that is different from the norm.

SOME HIGHLIGHTS FROM FLORIDA...

I flew out early (6:30 am) Thursday, Sept. 9th. The sun was just coming up! Beautiful sunrise...

It was busy in the air

Ate at Gulf View with the Friday Lunch Bunch
Excellent Grouper (fish) sandwich.

This is the view of the Gulf from their window
Saw a bald eagle by the lake, went home (to my mom's)
and got my camera. These birds are HUGE!
Went to Sharon's on Tuesday and made cards with the gang
(my mom's gang)

Thanks Sharon for all the fun.... you guys are a HOOT!!!
(ONLY 97 DAYS TIL CHRISTMAS)

Sharon demo'd how to make this candle.
I had wonderful one-on-one time with my mom, which is always special and a wonderful visit with my brother. I love spending time with both of them. We also went SHOPPING, ate out a few more times, went through my picture album my mom is making me, worked on finishing a jigsaw puzzle, cheered on our pick for America's Got Talent, solved the worlds' problems.
got Sweetie (mom's grey cockatiel) to eat Cheerios

Flew home Thursday, Sept. 16
Now I am home... Went from 96 one afternoon to 49 yesterday morning.

And now Fall is in full swing. Corn is being picked, crisp air, machinery running
I LOVE THE FALL IN THE MIDWEST

THANKS EVERYONE (DALE, CAROLYN, SHARON, MARY LOU, MOM, PATRICK) DOWN IN SUNNY FLORIDA FOR ALL THE FUN, BUT I AM GLAD TO BE HOME.

THE HOME OF ELVIS...

This is the road to the Home of Elvis... Graceland.......

NOOOO.... "Graze"Land....

Elvis was born a few weeks ago. He is a miniature horse!
Hey, breakfast time, not camera time. Annie was very patient with a stranger in the shed taking pictures of her new baby. Elvis was only 5 days old when these were taken.
I honestly have not seen anything cuter than this miniature horse.
He was only hmmm... maybe 15" high and 20" long. (I'm guessing)
Sooo tiny, but full of spunk!!!!
